DMC4 "looking likely" for Feb 8 UK release says Capcom

Confusion over mixed retailer release dates for upcoming action game.

Capcom has told VideoGamer.com that a February 8 UK release for hotly anticipated action game Devil May Cry 4 "is looking likely", despite retailers listing mixed dates for the game.

Online and highstreet retailer GAME has the PS3 version of Devil May Cry 4 listed for a Feb 8 release, with the 360 and PC version down for a Feb 15 release date.

However online only retailer Play has both the PS3 and the 360 versions down for Feb 8. Play has the PC version down for Feb 29.

When contacted by VideoGamer.com a Capcom representative told us that "DMC4 has not yet got a 100% firm date, but 8th February is looking likely."

The publisher added: "It's not confirmed, though, so if you want to speculate go ahead (you'll probably be right) but I can't officially confirm anything."
