Touchstone's next-gen FPS to stalk PCs in spring 2008.
Xbox 360 and PS3 owners have been awaiting the release of Turok for some time now, and Touchstone has today announced that the game will also be coming to PC. Aspyr Studios will be bringing the game to Windows PCs in spring 2008, after the game arrives on consoles in February.
"First person shooters have a rich history on the Windows PC platform and are known for having enthusiastic, dedicated fans," said Josh Holmes, vice president and general manager, Propaganda Games. "Turok will be an unforgettable experience ideal for the Windows PC platform when it becomes available in 2008."
Turok started out life as a stunning FPS for the Nintendo 64, but last generation's Turok Evolution was a serious let-down, effectively killing off the franchise. Thankfully Touchstone and Propaganda Games have managed to breathe new life into the dying brand, with the new game looking like one of the most promising games of Q1 2008.
We'll bring you more on Turok for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC nearer the game's release date.

Turok Hunting
Could you please nag at Iguana to release the level editor for Turok 2 online multiplayer that is sitting on their hard drive please? Yes, this is one last measely attempt after many people e-mailing Acclaim many times and having no response (except for an occasion on the telephone where they said that we wouldn't understand how to use the level editor). If they decide to include an online multiplayer mode (which is a very wise thing to do seen as Turok 2 is a very fun and skillful game to play online), it would be rather good and nice that the gaming community of the new Turok Hunting game could venture to the old Turok 2 online as there are dedicated veterans from all the way back to 1998 still playing to this day and we could do with more people playing it. Call it retro if you like. There's certainly a demand for retro games as you will already be aware of.

Turok
I meant 1999, not 1998.
