3D side-scrolling shooter for iPhone in Q2

PC and Mac action game from Atman Software.

Chillingo has announced that it is working with development studio Atman Software to bring the action-based 3D side-scrolling shooter io to the iPhone and iPod Touch.

The Nautilus-114, an interstellar research spacecraft, now lies marooned in the orbit of Jupiter's moon, io. The status of the crew is unknown. Players are tasked with bringing the Nautilus-114 back home, although robotic minions on-board the ship will make it far from easy.

io is scheduled for release in Q2 2009.
