Final Fantasy Dimensions confirmed for August 31 iOS and Android release

Final Fantasy Dimensions for iOS and Android will be given a worldwide release on August 31, Square Enix has announced.

Final Fantasy Dimensions uses the Active Time Battle system and will be released in episodes which can be tackled in any order. Finishing an episode may influence events of later episodes.

The prologue will be free to download, the first chapter will cost £1.99 and chapters 2-4 are priced £6.99 each. The whole game is priced £19.99.

... At that kind of price they may as well have released it on steam, PSN or XBLA. It probably would done better. £20 is something I doubt many people will pay for a mobile game.... £10 isn't something most people would pay for a mobile game...

First the Final fantasy 7 PC fiasco port and now this! I get the feeling the final fantasy team at Square Enix are living in the past and don't understand the digital market.
