F1 2009 for iPhone next week

Codemasters has announced that F1 2009 is to be released for iPhone and iPod touch next week, bringing all the action of the 2009 FIA Formula One World Championship to iDevices.

F1 2009 features all 10 teams, 20 drivers and 17 circuits from the thrilling 2009 season and promises stunning visuals and a totally authentic Formula One experience on the iPhone and iPod.

Players will go up against the clock in two game modes: Time Trial and Endurance. Time Trial is all about setting the ultimate flying lap at a circuit of your choice, playing as your favourite driver, while Endurance is a challenge of both speed and consistency as you tackle either 6, 9 or 12 laps looking to set the best average lap time you can.
