Not only has Harry Potter & The Order Of The Phoenix held onto the top spot, but it's also managed to see a 29% increase in sales over week one. The boost in sales was a timely one, having to fend off strong competition from Nintendo's More Brain Training for Nintendo DS.
The Nicole Kidman backed brain taxer moves up three places to No.2, one place higher than its predecessor managed - itself still clinging on to a Top 10 position. Activision's Shrek the Third continues to hold at No.3, largely thanks to strong PS2 sales (Shrek overtakes Harry Potter in the PS2 chart). The Darkness falls two places to No.2 and Capcom's Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition follows suit and is down to No.5.
The only new entry to speak of in this week's Top 40 is Eidos' Ninja Gaiden Sigma at No.19. The Team Ninja remake lies at No.2 in the PlayStation 3 chart behind Rainbow Six: Vegas.
Friday's new releases include the long overdue Elite Beat Agents for Nintendo DS, GRAW 2 for PC and the recently delayed Mario Party 8, which given the current Wii success should find itself riding high this time next week.
