Behind the Scenes GTA book set for release in March

300 pages brings together ten years of research.
Jacked: The Unauthorised Behind the Scenes Story of Grand Theft Auto, a book on the development of the blockbusters franchise, will be released next month.
Put together by David Kushner, Jacked promises to uncover what happened during the creation of one of gaming's biggest and most successful franchises.
Ten years of research is said to have gone into the 300 page book and claims to "lift the veil of secrecy around the team to show how a blend of creative genius, daring PR campaigns, big egos and an obsessive work ethic all came together to create a monster with a tendency to spiral out of control".
A paperback and digital version will be available March 15. A two-age excerpt will be published in the April issue of Develop magazine.

There is a book, Masters of Doom, that recounts the biography of Romero and Carnack (IIRC) as well as documenting the processes that led to the development of the ever-popular Doom. Fascinating read.
