2K confirms Fantastic 4 sequel

2K has announced it will publish Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer for next-gen, current-gen and handheld platforms.

2K's Visual Concepts and Seven Studios (the studio behind the disappointing first F4 game) will be heading up development of the game, described as a new third-person action video game. The game will be based on both the comic book series and the Twentieth Century Fox/Marvel Entertainment movie sequel.

Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer is scheduled for release in June 2007 to coincide with the motion picture hitting theatres, and no matter what platform you own there should be a version for you - 2K has announced that it's coming to next-gen, current-gen and handheld platforms.
