Miyamoto does his best to keep Zelda hype from spiralling out of control.
Nintendo didn't really announce a new Zelda game back at E3 last month, more teased the fact that Miyamoto is working on a new Link adventure on Wii.
The game will be the first Zelda game developed from the ground up for Wii, with the Wii launch title, Zelda: Twilgiht Princess, having started life on the GameCube (a version for the GCN was also released).
So what's Zelda supremo Shigeru Miyamoto got up his sleeve for the new game? According to comments made to Nintendo Power, not that much.
"I don't think it's going to be that radically different," Miyamoto told the magazine.
Maybe he's just making sure Zelda's fanbase doesn't get too excited, too soon. The game's likely to be some way off.
Would a new Zelda game which isn't radically different to what we've seen before be acceptable? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.
