Nintendo has revealed Super Paper Mario, a new 2D/3D side-scrolling platformer for the Nintendo GameCube.
In a rather low key announcement, Nintendo has revealed Super Paper Mario for the GameCube. Billed as the newest chapter in the Paper Mario story, the game is not only a 2D side-scrolling platformer, but also a 3D action adventure. The game fuses 2D and 3D perspectives, and blends RPG and platformer elements, skipping back and forth between dimensions.
Play through eight worlds, full of the usual traps, puzzles and mysteries, plus take control of Mario, Peach and Bowser. Super Paper Mario is scheduled for release on the Nintendo GameCube at the end of the year, but for now check out the screens and the game's first trailer.
