Mario has a place all all our hearts no matter what console you enjoy. We always go back to our roots and we always remember the classics. I think my favourite series of Mario has to be the Paper Mario and Mario Kart series.

Lol true well it was a spin off rather than rip off. But it was basically a rehashed Mario style game that would be super seeded by the plumber. A stop gap or learning curve before the next game.

SMB3 was then a big leap both graphically and game play wise.

Maybe so but the reality is Doki Doki is a rip off of Mario lol so it is more of the same. :P

Dr Mario = Puzzle Game and more a cameo role

Super Mario Bros 2 = More of the same of Super mario bros 1

Super Mario the lost levels = More of the same.

Can see why they were left out.

Nice feature.

You can beat a Mario game. Great times with Mario Kart but I think the 64 verison should of been mentioned and Double Dash on the Cube. SMG2 easily wants me to pick it up but I won't. I may just get my own Wii again, just to play Mario games and Zelda. We will see what the end of the year brings me.
