Capcom's latest entry into the world of survival horror sells well in Europe.

Capcom and Nintendo Europe have announced that Resident Evil 4 has now sold in excess of 200,000 copies in Europe, and the UK launch was the most successful GameCube game launch since Mario Kart: Double Dash. Stock is currently low in a number of stores, but this will be rectified this week. The release of the game also helped sales of the GameCube, doubling the consoles market share in the release period.
