Agree with you there, but we haven't seen the full list yet so we can't really judge the list as a whole yet. I definitely thought Civ V should have been higher but complainings not gonna do much good :-//

@squidman: Any particular date when the Community GOTY article will be released? I'm tingling with anticipation :)

No, we're going for one a day - should keep us busy until the 30th. Other features (including honourable mentions from the staff and the community GOTY) will be going up alongside the overall list.

Honestly didn't know James was so damn good.
I don't think SSFIV should have made the Top Ten over AC Brotherhood or Alan Wake, but I'm not going to cry about it.

Street fighter IV did, but this is Super Street Fighter IV. There's new characters and balancing etc.

What is Game Of The Year?

Over the Christmas period we've got a whole heap of exciting features for you to read and watch. As well as videos and articles detailing our favourite games of 2010, we've got a series of personal honourable mentions.

On top of that Tom Pearson presents two special episodes of Indie Bin, Martin rounds up the Community's games of 2010 and Emily looks at the worst games of the year. Then at the start of 2011 Jamin takes a look at the games we're most looking forward to.
