Who loves games? YOU? Are some of the games you love racing games? If so, continue reading!
I've never met anyone from Codemasters, but they all seem like excellent chaps - and they're pretty gosh darn fantastic at the ol' racing genre. They really understand cars, you know? Like, wheels and doors and engines and stuff. All the good bits.
And, yes, while we're on the subject of Codemasters and their racing games - we've got three Xbox 360 copies of the fresh-off-the-presses DiRT Showdown to giveaway, along with some fancy goody bags of swanky merchandise.
What on Earth are in these bags, you ask? There's a couple of trendy t-shirts, some stickers and a bag, amongst other jazzy tidbits. Oh, and you get a keyring with a bottle opener, and I was looking for a bottle opener the other day and couldn't find one so I can speak with first-hand experience of how frustrating that can be. Don't make my mistake.
As for the game, DiRT Showdown takes the popular rally series into a more arcade-orientated direction, encouraging players to trade paint across criss-crossing courses and demolition derbies. It's also the first Codemasters game to make use of their recently unveiled Racenet service, which is one of those social doodads all the cool kids love these days.
And, besides, everyone loves DiRT, right? VG editor Tom Orry even thinks DiRT 3 is one of the best racing games in the history of ever.
DiRT Showdown will be released on May 25 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. A demo is currently available to download.
