Like superheroes? Of course you do. Like video games? Of course you do. Then you’re bound to like Champions Online, the upcoming superhero MMO from Cryptic. Right now it’s in closed beta, which means only super special people like us get to play it. But that doesn’t mean you can’t get your name on the list.

We’re giving away 200 hot as pancakes closed beta keys right here on VideoGamer.com, courtesy of publisher Atari and developer Cryptic. We’re dishing them out on a first come, first serve basis. To get yours all you have to do is click on the button below. That’s it. Simples!

Never heard of Champions Online? Shame on you. It’s looking great, with some fantastic character creation features and a lovely comic book art style. Find out why we think it’s worth your hard-earned gaming time over at our hands-on preview.

The closed beta is scheduled to run, during select play times from NOW until August 16.

What to do when you've got your code

Be one of the first people to experience this new massively multiplayer online game: truly customize your character in a way no other game today allows, create your own personal nemesis to oppose you throughout your adventures, battle alongside fellow superheroes, discover secrets hidden in deserts, and explore volcanic islands filled with monsters.

This is a work in progress; throughout the preview the game will change as we implement and polish new features and respond to your feedback.
