1500 Blur Beta application keys up for grabs
Get in quick to take part in the multiplayer Beta.
Blur, the next game from Project Gotham Racing developer Bizarre Creations, is nearing release, but you don't have to wait long to get your hands on it. The game's multiplayer beta is due to start on March 8 on the Xbox 360, and you can get a key to sign up to the beta right here.
Click the button below (register for free first if you don't have a VideoGamer.com account), and then head to the official Blur website to sign up to receive an Xbox LIVE download code.
Beta information
Blur's online multiplayer beta gives gamers the ability to choose from a variety of licensed vehicles including European and Japanese Tuners, Supercars, American Muscle cars, original concept cars and more.
Drivers will careen through real-world track locations packed with fast curves, sneaky alternate routes and hair-raising jumps, as they collect and utilise intense Power-ups, including the ability to blast other cars out of the way, nitro speed boosts, mines and more.

From what I've read it's a mix of Wipeout and Mario Kart. I like Wipeout but not too fussed on Mario Kart. Wish I could play Wipeout now actually.

I've won races without using power-ups at all (just by driving cleanly). Makes me wonder if they're really necessary.
I liked the menu screens and overall presentation though. Very slick.
