Exclusive artwork signed by Lost Winds creator David Braben up for grabs.
WiiWare, Nintendo's digital download service for the Wii, has been up and running for a few months now, and LostWinds from Frontier Developments is without doubt one of the best titles currently available. Frontier Developments founder David Braben and Lead Designer Steven Burgess will be attending the The Edinburgh Interactive Festival 2008 on Monday August 11 to discuss the creation process behind the game, so we've teamed up with the studio to give away a limited edition LostWinds print signed by David. The lucky winner will also receive a free download of the critically acclaimed WiiWare game.
Note: In order to claim your free copy of the game the winner will need to have their Wii connected to the internet and be able to provide their unique 16-digit friends code.

Braben, best known for creating the free-roaming combat space simulator, Elite, and Lead Designer and concept initiator of LostWinds Steven Burgess will explain how they put the power of the wind in the palm of our hands with a look at the making of their gorgeous, gusty game.
This Screening is your chance to discover how Enril and Toku's adventure to save the beautiful world of Mistralis grew from a simple day dream by Lead Designer Steven Burgess to become the most popular game for Nintendo's WiiWare.
This Screening will show some of the beautiful concept art; character animation of Toku; details of audio production - and perhaps unveil a secret or two?
David Braben said, "I'm very excited to be taking part at Edinburgh this year with Steven - making games is a great field to work in, and the Screening lets us share some interesting details about how we do it, as well as conveying our enthusiasm for the art form and its potential."
