Heads-up: What's new this week
A look ahead to Friday's new releases.
Welcome to Heads-up, our weekly feature which gives you an at-a-glance run-down on the games you'll be able to buy or rent this weekend. Every Tuesday we'll pick out the best of the bunch, link to our reviews and previews and keep you in the video game loop so you have enough time to pre-order for Friday's post. Time to splash the cash.

While we try our best to recommend the best titles for you to spend your money on, there's really nothing to get even remotely excited about this week. There's not even much due next week, so you're best off picking up StarCraft II if you haven't already or saving for the likes of Mafia II and Kane and Lynch 2: Dog Days due in a few weeks.
Art Academy - DS
The Last Airbender - Wii and DS
Challenge Me: Brain Puzzles 2 - DS
Silent Heroes - PC
Complete Penumbra Collection - PC
UFO: Extraterrestrials - PC

Oh, for anyone interested, I've found out where Wesley Yin-Poole who used to staff here is now working. He's at Eurogamer -

I'm hoping Mafia have picked their window really well. The video that VG put up makes me even more interested in it...and I always swore that I hated 3rd person games... oh how I've changed!
