Heads-up: What's new this week
A look ahead to Friday's new releases.
Welcome to Heads-up, our weekly feature which gives you an at-a-glance run-down on the games you'll be able to buy or rent this weekend. Every Tuesday we'll pick out the best of the bunch, link to our reviews and previews and keep you in the video game loop so you have enough time to pre-order for Friday's post. Time to splash the cash.

Resident Evil 5 divided critics and gamers on its release last year, but it sold extremely well. If you haven't picked it up yet then now's the time, as the Gold Edition comes complete with the released DLC packs, all for under £30. Also out this week is stand alone expansion to Dawn of War II, Chaos Rising. Featuring a brand new campaign and introducing the Chaos Marines to the multiplayer game, we heartily recommend it.
Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition - Xbox 360 and PS3
Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War II: Chaos Rising - PC
Worth a look
While it's somewhat sad that Square-Enix's Final Fantasy XIII isn't good enough to be an insta-buy, we still think it's worth a look - just don't expect an RPG to rule all RPGs. Sonic Classics Collection is exactly what it says on the tin (a collection of the best retro Sonic games), and Yakuza 3 continues the open-city action game series with its first appearance on PS3.
Final Fantasy XIII - PS3 and Xbox 360
Sonic Classic Collection - DS
Yakuza 3 - PS3
And the rest…
Way of the Samurai 3 - PS3 and Xbox 360
Ben 10 Alien Force Vilgax Attacks - Xbox 360, Wii, DS, PS2 and PSP
Dancing on Ice - Wii
Drawn: The Painted Tower - PC
