Heads-up: What's new this week
A look ahead to Friday's new releases.
Welcome to Heads-up, VideoGamer.com's weekly feature which gives you an at-a-glance run-down on the games you'll be able to buy or rent this weekend. Every Tuesday we'll pick out the best of the bunch, link to our reviews and previews and keep you in the video game loop so you have enough time to pre-order for Friday's post. Time to splash the cash.

Recommended - Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Xbox 360, PS3, PC
Unquestionably the biggest video games event of the year, perhaps of all time, Activision's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is in stores now. While many reading this are likely to have queued up for a midnight launch, braving the cold in order to get your frost-bitten hands on the warmth of Infinity Ward's latest modern war epic, some, perhaps the frail among you, didn't. What we want to know is why didn't you? Don't you know that Modern Warfare 2 is like the only game your friends will be playing online for the foreseeable future? If you've changed your mind and you do want in, heading to your local Sainsbury's store looks a good bet, seeing as they're offering the game for only £26.
