Who comes out on top in this week's DLC round-up?

The console war is fought everywhere these days, but the internet seems to be where people are most vocal. It also serves to give each console its own set of downloadable content, fuelling the war even more. Each week we'll give you a run-down of what's available to download on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii, and declare a winner.

Note: This round-up is based on UK releases to each console's online service and does not include premium video content. Releases outside of the UK could vary.

PlayStation 3 - PSN

New to the PS Store this week is popular casual PC game Diner Dash. It's been around for years in its PC form (and arrived on XBLA last in 2009), and despite some control issues remains solid fun, but is best played on PC.

If Diner Dash, PSP Mini Deflector or PSone title Constructor don't float your boat then you've still got three game demos to try out. The pick of the bunch is SEGA's Vancouver 2010, providing the perfect opportunity to get in the mood for the fast-approaching Winter Olympics.

The PS Store has also caught up on the Rock Band tracks which were missing last week.

Maybe, maybe they are just holding stuff back like you said. Hmmm, like what they do with the firmware updates :D

Sony - in my view - have always had a bad store a week or two before a really good or filled store. Maybe it's their way of improving the reception to the store as they suddenly get hit with a big store update they didn't expect?

Poor delivery by Sony this week, maybe us PS3 owners could get something more worthwhile next week?

Lol, yes of course
unless you consider the fact I can walk to my nearest HMV, Game, or/and Gamestation.
Even my Asda, Tesco and Sainsbury's are within walking distance :P

They do seem expensive...though if you factor in the petrol costs to go out and buy the game :D

Deserved win for the 360;
some good games for download at some decent prices.

Yes, Warhawk for £7. Burnout Paradise with the extra map pack is not bad at £19.99 either. There are a few more I'd get if I didn't own the originals or hadn't already played them.

But the new Kane and Lynch PSP game suffers the same issue as the Xbox one for pricing (out yesterday) so it's obvious who is to blame.

It's always third parties and it's usually the same ones who create the huge prices for Downloadable versions of their retail games.

MS, Nintendo and Sony are usually pretty good at setting their prices.

Who on earth would bother with full game downloads at those prices?

Has anyone here ever bought a digital full retail game off either Live or PSN?

I'll be putting it off until I have no other option.
