Who comes out on top in this week's DLC round-up?

The console war is fought everywhere these days, but the internet seems to be where people are most vocal. It also serves to give each console its own set of downloadable content, fuelling the war even more. Each week we'll give you a run-down of what's available to download on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii, and declare a winner.

Note: This round-up is based on UK releases to each console's online service and does not include premium video content. Releases outside of the UK could vary.

PlayStation 3 - PSN

It's just the one new game this week, the fun but repetitive Heavy Weapon from PopCap Games, but three playable demos should keep you busy. PSN title The Punisher: No Mercy is finally available in demo form, but it's the cooperative Lost Planet 2 sampler and Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 that will be of most interest.

Fallout 3 fans will be pleased to see the first of five add-ons finally make it to PSN, starting with Broken Steel which extends the level cap. You've also got new maps for Batman: Arkhan Asylum, additional fighters for UFC 2009, a new course for Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 and a bunch of songs for Guitar Hero 5 and Rock Band.

That's good, seeing as it is judged on the week-by-week offerings of each on-line service...

Yes, but what I'm saying is that having it on PS3 now isn't exactly a 1UP over XBL's offerings considering it's already available on the system and they've had it for months already.

If it was new DLC then I'd agree, it should tilt it a little more in PS3's favor... but as it's not, no.

Edit: I understand the week-to-week viewpoint though.

Gotta agree with Ninjutsu on this one, it should be taken on a week-by-week basis, not on what has went before.

Ninja Gaiden 2, albeit a poor version of it, has been available since June 08 on 360 and is only now available on PS3.

Well they will probably play on the fact that they get Forza, but I would of though then Fallout DLC would of been a big deal :D
