DLC Royal Rumble - PS3 vs Xbox 360 vs Wii

Who comes out on top in this week's DLC round-up?

The console war is fought everywhere these days, but the internet seems to be where people are most vocal. It also serves to give each console its own set of downloadable content, fuelling the war even more. Each week we'll give you a run-down of what's available to download on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii, and declare a winner.

Note: This round-up is based on UK releases to each console's online service and does not include premium video content. Releases outside of the UK could vary.

PlayStation 3 - PSN

The big release on PSN this week is the Resistance 2 Aftermath Multiplayer Map Pack, which includes three new maps. It's joined by the 1.5 patch which adds two new game modes and the ability to have two local players signed in to their PSN accounts while playing together. We're not quite so sold on the skins bundle also released for Resistance 2, but it's all optional. European PS3 gamers also get the UT3 Titan Pack this week, which adds loads of new content to the game completely free of charge. It really is well worth downloading.

On top of that there's the PSN game Burn Zombie Burn, classic Bullfrog PlayStation game Magic Carpet, even more add-ons for LittleBigPlanet, Pain and EndWar, plus a selection of new tracks for Guitar Hero World Tour and Rock Band.
