DLC Royal Rumble - PS3 vs Xbox 360 vs Wii

Who comes out on top in this week's DLC round-up?

The console war is fought everywhere these days, but the internet seems to be where people are most vocal. It also serves to give each console its own set of downloadable content, fuelling the war even more. Each week we'll give you a run-down of what's available to download on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii, and declare a winner.

Note: This round-up is based on UK releases to each console's online service and does not include premium video content. Releases outside of the UK could vary.

PlayStation 3 - PSN

PS3 gamers with an internet connection can get hold of a full PSN game, two new demos, plenty of new DLC, a selection of videos, wallpapers and themes.

Top of the pile this week are the demos for WWE Legends of WrestleMania and Wanted: Weapons of Fate. Both demos have been released weeks before the final games are scheduled to hit retail, and by playing one you could win yourself a rather nice prize. Warner's Watchmen: The End is Nigh looks the part (almost up to the standard of a full retail release), but sadly it falls down a lot when you start playing. It's also very short, coming in at around two hours for the average gamer, making its relatively high price tag quite hard to justify.

Ubisoft's Prince of Persia DLC, titled Epilogue, is the most high profile DLC this week, although our early impressions aren't hugely positive - essentially this add-on doesn't quite feel the same as the content in the original release. On top of that there's the usual assortment of tracks for Rock Band and Guitar Hero World Tour.
