DLC Royal Rumble - PS3 vs Xbox 360 vs Wii

Who comes out on top in this week's DLC round-up?

The console war is fought everywhere these days, but the internet seems to be where people are most vocal. It also serves to give each console its own set of downloadable content, fuelling the war even more. Each week we'll give you a run-down of what's available to download on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii, and declare a winner.

Note: This round-up is based on UK releases to each console's online service and does not include premium video content. Releases outside of the UK could vary.

PlayStation 3 - PSN

It's a bumper PSN update this week for PS3 owners, with four full games, a demo, numerous meaty DLC packs and the usual assortment of videos, themes and wallpapers. Top of the bunch this week is Konami's GTI Club+, the modern remake of the classic arcade racer. With some fancy new graphics and online multiplayer support, this is one of the most impressive PSN games to date, providing you don't expect a game overflowing with content.

The other three titles this week aren't too hot, with Brain Challenge being yet another mental agility mini-game collection, and Jet Rider and C&C - Red Alert Retaliation perhaps best left on the PSone. If you're after free playable content the demo for Warner's Lego Batman the Videogame is worth a look, as is a new costume for LittleBigPlanet.

It's DLC crazy this week, with premium updates available for GRID (new cars and multiplayer modes) and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (a new level and new costumes), along with new tracks for Rock Band and Guitar Hero: World Tour.
