Who comes out on top in this week's DLC round-up?

The console war is fought everywhere these days, but the internet seems to be where people are most vocal. It also serves to give each console its own set of downloadable content, fuelling the war even more. Each week we'll give you a run-down of what's available to download on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii, and declare a winner.

Note: This round-up is based on UK releases to each console's online service and does not include premium video content. Releases outside of the UK could vary.

PlayStation 3 - PSN

PS3 owners don't have any new games or demos to play this week, but there's still plenty of content on the PlayStation Store. Headlining is the new content for Pain, which includes a movie studio pack and Baywatch star David Hasselhoff as a playable character. There are also new costumes for LittleBigPlanet, equipment for SoulCalibur IV, various packs for Dead Space, outfits for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, new maps for Civilization Revolution and various tracks for Rock Band (a whole Foo Fighters album) and Guitar Hero World Tour.

There's also the usual selection of themes, wallpapers and game trailers, and strangely enough quite a few commentary packs for FIFA 09 - although most need you to understand foreign languages to get the most out of them.

The Phantasy Star series as a whole is great and thanks to wiiware and the titles on the Gamecube it looks as though you may be able to play the whole series (more or less) on the wii. I just hope that Sega will put the DS Demo of the newest one on the Nintendo Channel as soon as its released. :D although the classic series is slightly better than the Online Series (with the exception of the Dreamcast online community back in the day)

The Wii FTW!!!

I've only ever played the first Phantasy Star. I have the first three on the Sega Mega Drive Collection for the PS2 though. That's what I should go back to playing sometime this month.

they never mention any other DLC on the Wii so why start now. They never even mention the DS demos!!! They only seem to mention whats available on the wii shop and not whats available on the Nintendo channel and within in game downloads.
