Who comes out on top in this week's DLC round-up?

The console war is fought everywhere these days, but the internet seems to be where people are most vocal. It also serves to give each console its own set of downloadable content, fuelling the war even more. Each week we'll give you a run-down of what's available to download on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii, and declare a winner.

Our verdict is based on the content available this week only.

Note: This round-up is based on UK releases to each console's online service and does not include premium video content. Releases outside of the UK could vary.

PlayStation 3 - PSN

Ferrari: The Race Challenge is the week's big release on PSN, providing similar simulation racing to that found in previous retail release Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli. We weren't huge fans of that release, but it's hard to argue with the £11.99 price tag for what appears to be a full-featured title.

Elsewhere you've got a DJ Hero 2 demo and add-on content for Sports Champions, Red Dead Redemption, ModNation Racers and EyePet.

I have now successfuly avoided all dlc and game downloads for around a month, with the only exceptions being the demos for Castlevania and Enslaved. There may be a couple of things to pique my inerest (like the Skate 3 Party Pack) however I just can't bring myself to part with the cash or suffer bigger chunks of my data cap being eaten up.

I was wathcing a video of the BC2: Vietnam expansion on you tube the other day and it is frustrating to say the least. I just want it more and more. I expect that there won't be anything as tempting as that until Novemeber, when I expect it to become available. Maybe the zombie pack for Red Dead however I haven't played that for ages...

Playing Comic Jumper is like playing something that was programmed by a 12-year old Asperger's sufferer, locked in a time capsule for 15 years, and then converted by an alcoholic. It is dated, repetitive, and nowhere near as funny as it thinks it is. Comic Jumper is NOT a 1200 point game, especially when 'Splosion Man is there for 800.
