BLUE DRAGON.
What was supposed to usher in the 360 rpg era, as well as the revitlization of console sales in japan, this game TANKED.
The gameplay was dull, the characters bland, and the adventure cut and paste jrpg of many years. Considering the father of Final Fantasy was at the helm, this stunned nearly ANY JRPG enthusiast.
But of course, lets put as many sony titles in as possible, espically haze, which has only been out a month or so, has solid sales, AND from acutally gamers has been reviewed as solid. There wasnt any massive hype in terms of being a flagship franchise or massive killer app from the gamers end.

I guess you guys didn't get enough cash from Ubisoft for the ad campaign.
Amusing.

And where is Halo 3? Fun online with mates, but lacking merit in advancement or originality!

As it happens Killzone is a good game, but where it really suffers is the poor frame-rate and that signals to me that it was either unoptimised, or the PS2 just couldn't handle the slick frame rate requirement for, in actual fact, a pretty decent looking game considering the console it was on.
It doesn't deserve the No. 1 spot though, that's too harsh.
