If we are going on upscaling resolution then EVERY SINGLE PS3 GAME OUTPUTS AT 1080P!!! Because the PS3 upscales also, it upscales everything to 1080p if you select that as the only resolution, my TV tells me so in the top corner every time I turn the PS3 on.
Also can you XBot fanboys just keep in mind that the same "random guy on a forum" that said PS3 GTA IV renders at 630p also said that HALO 3 does the same. So if being 630p makes a game look shit, then you are saying that HALO 3 (supposedly the best ever game on 360) also looks shit!!! LOL
Finally has anybody actually bothered to do a pixel count on the 360 version? It wouldn't surprise me if it renders (renders, not outputs) at the same res also... now that would shut you up! LOL

Sony fanboys shut up sit down stop talking rubbish and pulling idiotic stats from your rear end.
360 Fanboys shut up be graceful our consoles did good. The product speaks for itself whatever the retarded tools say shouldn't make you want to come out with bogus stats. Not that there are many spoken on here bout 360 bt i suppose if the outcome was different some of you would be churning them.
The major gripe i have is people that still advertise the PSN as awesome. I have played on it it's not. It locks up and is just rubbish when placed in comparrison to the XBOX Live system. PSN needs to go down get secure make it a subscription service to improve the service. The £3.50 a month i pay on live is well worth it.

The controlls for stearing the driving is better with the PS3 it´s more responsive, crached when chased a lot less.
Shooting is still a disaster on both systems (: why oh why couldent they make it as Gears of War or Army of Two.
the only thing I got was that it was easyer to go online and play, my friend has some real problem getting to play online.
No, back to the store and get the PS3 version insted... thanks a lot for a dumb comperission.

But no really, honestly, to me, I couldn't care less which version is better, end of the day, its the same game just on a different console.
Get over it! :)

What I want to say is that in my eyes, the conclusion "360 wins" is just ridiculous. I'm referring particularly to the screenshots posted which prove... exactly the opposite. On almost every shot, the PS3 version looks simply better - less aliased, with a warmer color scheme (OK, the hue is a matter of preference), more realistic and pronounced lighting. When I tried both versions of FIFA 08 at home, the choice was easy - both played the same but PS3 lacked AA and was a tad slower in some cut scenes. Now, only the X360 version is on my shelf. As for GTA IV, it's a completely different story. The PS3 version indeed has less pop-in, some distant textures look better, the game does look less aliased overall, and also has a nice, cinematic feeling with very good lighting - the X360 version definitely lacks it. In other words, no idea what they're smoking but if they think the Xbox screens look better, I say Shaquille O'Neal is a great free throw shooter.

And for the 1080p thing - don't make me laugh. The PS3 version of Grand Theft Auto doesn't even run in 720p (hence the more excessive blur in comparison to the 360 version - caused by upscaling), rather it runs at 640p. The PS3 will allow you to upscale the game further to 1080p, but it will most likely look fairly awful. Not only that, those with newer 360s (or TV's which can do 1080p/VGA and 1080p/Component) can upscale GTA to 1080p - Lets not forget, the 360 had the ability to upscale games to 1080p before the PS3 was even released.

I like the Sixaxis control on the coptors as well, though the control on the bikes takes a bit of getting used to.

Whilst we havnt yet dont a SIDE BY SIDE comparison, we both agree the xbox looks better, but noy by much. Seems to be mainly because of the lighting and shadows. They just seem a littel more realisitc on the xbox. On ps3, it seems a littel dull.
PS3 plays better, especially in high speed driving situations. On the xbox theres a fair bit of popup and slowdown, on PS3, its still there, but not as much. You can also see further in the chopper on ps3, but it looks more realistic on the xbox, due to the lighting.
I prefer to use the PS3 controller, even tho i own the xbox, its easier to handle than the bulky ass xbox contol. However id rather a keyboard and mouse any day for this kind of game. :P GTA games on console have always had bad controls, and seriously, i wish they would get rid of the goddam Auto Aim shit!
Sound seems the same, tho my sound system is better, so its hard to judge.
Your always going to have ya fanboys with their bias opinions. Id say most of you guys havnt played / dont even own the versions your supporting let alone both of them, so STFU and stop arguing about it.
