It's not like the game doesn't sell well enough to afford to do this. Even the edit modes were better in PES 5 for the PS2 where you could edit boots. It would be nice to see the PES shop make a come back and Konami make more of an effort with the classic teams with propoer faces for Pele, Cruyff, Maradonna, Platini and the likes. Old Trafford, Celtic Park, Anfield, Allianz Arena and the new Wembley would be terrific additions to the game. Gameplay wise, longer passes should be improved because Type 1 feels too rigid and type 5 is a hit and a miss with most passes shallow and too strong. Online is currently a disaster with lag or people constantly going Barcelona, running down the wing and passing it across goal for a tap in. Maybe you should be restricted from using the same team twice in a row?

1. Get rid of the pointless waiting time for the referee to blow his whistle after a foul has taken place. I just want to get on with the game!
2. There is absolutely no point in having those extra features in master league mode, for eg. your player has said something in a press conference. What's the point? You should be able to interact with that feature somehow in order for it to make the game more entertaining.

Fair enough if fifa has the "exclusive" deal till 2010 , pro evo should at least have every international side licensed and the majority of other clubs bar the 2 that they get from the epl, konami should at least try to get the champions and uefa cup so that when EA's deal expires and i hope konami sacrafice there left nut and do what ever it takes to get that deal and not loose any in the process hopefully PES will finally have that completed feel we all have been waiting for years to have.......
i could go on for hours with all the things i would love to see in the game...but to sum it up the PS3 blu rays have what around 50GB for a disc then konami take advantage of that and fill it with something decent, PS3 users shouldn't have to suffer just because the xbox 360 can't match the amount of space that a blu ray can offer and if your not willing to do that which is what will probably happen then at least offer some sort downloadable content that includes: teams,players/player updates/player stats/up to date tranfers, stadiums, boots, balls, kits, goal celebrations, more create a player accessories, hairs, crowd chant packs...... something that fifa doesn't have......help to save ppl time from having to uses patches all the time ...
any other thoughts?

overhaul the engine - as good as it is it does have its limitations.
An obvious step would be to introduce full analogue control to allow precise dribbling and improved passing and shooting. Just a thought

The offsides in this game ruin the whole thing- they are constant and pathetic- ya shoelace is offside and the ref gives it!!!! Attackers do not run back onside either its so so so so so annoying!!!!!
