Wii Virtual Console

Headlining the Virtual Console this week is SNES classic Super Street Fighter II - available for 800 Wii points. Other than the fact that it's an excellent beat 'em up that features the original Street Fighter II cast along with four bosses and four new characters, it's perhaps most famous for being the game that's getting the HD treatment on Xbox 360 and PS3 later this year. If you can live without the HD visuals and online play then this is well worth a look.

And the winner of this week's DLC Royal Rumble is...

Xbox 360 Marketplace

For a third week running the Xbox 360 Marketplace takes the crown, although things were once again very tight indeed. In the end it came down to quantity of content available. While the PSN, Xbox LIVE Marketplace and Virtual Console all received good releases, it was the combo of free game (Undertow) and demos (Devil May Cry 4 and Turning Point) and gave the 360 the win.

The good news is that whichever console you own you're able to download at least one game that's worth the money.
