Wii

The Hanabai Festival returns to Wii Virtual Console this week, bringing unreleased games from Japan and the US to Europe. Two games are on offer this week: the previously time-limited Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels is now permanently available and the SNES classic Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars makes its debut. This Square developed RPG was the last Mario game to be released on the SNES and received critical acclaim on its release in 1996. Although a sequel has never officially been released, the Paper Mario and Mario & Luigi games are thought to be spiritual successors. At 900 Wii Points it's well worth checking out.

Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars: 900 Wii Points

And the winner of this week's DLC Royal Rumble is...

PSN
With Quest for Booty, an add-on for Buzz! Quiz TV, International Track & Field and a load of trailers PSN takes the victory. Xbox LIVE Marketplace isn't quite as strong due to the solitary XBLA release Galaga Legions, but it does have an extra demo in the shape of NHL 2K9 and plenty of content for Guitar Hero and Rock Band. Wii Virtual Console isn't short on quality with two games that are well worth a look, but with The Lost Levels having already appeared on the service it's lacking in new content.
