What makes games such as Halo such a legend, infact I would say Halo 2 is the est Ive ever played. Simply from my point of view what made it good is:
The in game soundtrack
The characters emotions.
In all Halo games (using as a comparison of a great FPS) when there is a large important final fight there is an excilletating sound track played while the fight goes on. Some orchastra and some xtreme rock. This all adds to the effect the game has on its player. It shows the gamer the importance of this level and good background music helps this. It would be brilliant if Haze could figure a GOOD soundtrack just like Halos.
The emotions in Halo also make it a brilliant game series. When something bad happens, you get annoyed and want to slice the balls off the person who done this, where as in HAZE, it just, simply goes on as a macho man reading a book in a monotone. Theres no sense of emphasis or emotion from characters, and if the characters dont show emotion then will the player? ITS ALL ABOUT BRINGING THE PLAYER INTO THE GAME.
We really rely, (well i am) on HAZE to be the HALO of the PS3. We need a game that can say GET THE PS3 for this game. The only reason i would get an xbox is for halo, but i truly like the ps3 better and thts why i got one. So please Free Radical, give us a game that rips the grains out of microsofts coffee.
Also remember that this is only HAZE one. Halo 1 is nothing compared too halo 2.
So we can give HAZE another chance. If they fail on the second game, i will be extremely disappointed and snap the game in half. if the pass, i will be extremely pleased and play it all the time.
i Think, they should make it so the nectar is kinda like in crysis, the cryosuit, but u should be able to have it like normal, or focus it on something, wich amkes that one ability, REALLY goodl. that would be cool. and yes, the vehicles sucked, and if u have a hard candy, the last boss guy is really easy.
and shooters are not meant for xbox, personally, i have used both systems for COD 4, and ps3 easily wins, maybe its just diferent people like different controllers, but i like ps3, and it would suck if haze went to xbox.
there should be 4 player in custom games not just two also it needs better places to play at it custom games and it needs 4 player co op with out using online
I feel that the story had a good concept, but the only thing that I want to see added to your list is a better multiplayer. I mean what's up with the bots? I go online to play against other people, not bots.
