Wii Virtual Console

The Wii Virtual Console gets only one new release this week: Super Turrican for the SEGA Mega Drive. The side-scrolling shooter was developed by Factor 5. As a member of the the USS Freedom Forces, it's up to the player to defeat the Dark Forces. By wearing the Turrican suit the player becomes an almost unstoppable killing machine.

And the winner of this week's DLC Royal Rumble is...

PlayStation 3 - PSN
It's been a poor week for DLC across the three consoles, but forced to pick a winner we had to go with the PSN. The lack of any new games on Xbox LIVE Arcade and the single release on the Virtual Console means Pain and its expansions give the PSN a slight edge. If you're yet to buy either Assault Heroes or Doom they're both worth a look, and the extra content for Forza 2, FIFA Street 3 and ProStreet is good, but we value new games over price drops and add-ons.
