Resistance 2 vs. Gears of War 2

GoW2 was out on ps2 and was a great game. Now as far as Gears 2 and R2, resistance 2 is what im more excited for.

When i had a 360 i didnt really love gears of war. Sad

now ive got a ps3 i dont really love resistance. Sad

My point is just play cod 4 instead. Smile

People like this with no technical background opening there holes and spewing out utter nonsense. This is typical of what I hear PS3 only owners say.

Don't you people understand that the PS3 is not ever going to outdo the 360 in graphical performance? What the PS3 can do graphically is in the norm compared with the NVIDIA 7800 PC cards. It's a full generation behind the GPU inside the 360
not to mention the inferior memory architecture the ps3 uses.
Gears of War 2 is my choice over Resistance 2

For games the 360 wins
For movies the PS3 wins

Buy Both if you have the gear I say.

gears 2 is my pick r2 isn't going have destroyable environments sprinting feature or cover system and its in ww2 time and also gears of war 1 was way better than r1 gamespot gave gears 9.6 ign 9.4 and r2 got 8.6 and 9.1 and also in my personal opinion i thought gears 1 was better.
i haven't seen many new things in r2 yeah some new weapons but gears 2 has so many new things new curb stomps using smoke as a stun grenade using a frag as a proximity mine destroyable environments not to mention all the new weapons and unique features the first one already had resistance doesn't even deserve to be compared to gears, farcry 2 and may be kill zone 2 but definitely not resistance

I heard that gears has got new co-op special moves ? that would be intresting DOUBLE CHAINSAW !! oh but that wud really p**s x box live players off. when i had it i chainsawed a couple of people and got bad rep WTF its only a weapon .
