Welcome to Heads-up, VideoGamer.com's weekly feature which gives you an at-a-glance run-down on the games you'll be able to buy or rent this weekend. Every Tuesday we'll pick out the best of the bunch, link to our reviews and previews and keep you in the video game loop so you have enough time to pre-order for Friday's post. Time to splash the cash.

Recommendation of the Week: Unreal Tournament 3, PS3
It's been a long-time coming - it was available for PC last year - but Epic Games' Unreal Tournament 3 is finally available for PlayStation 3. With the Xbox 360 version still months away from release the game's availability on the PlayStation 3 is a considerable feather in the console's cap and the good news is Epic has created a thoroughly heart pounding, pulse racing multiplayer experience.
The pace has been slowed a little over the PC version, but this doesn't mean the gameplay is slow. This is all-out action, with insanely powerful weaponry and ultra cool vehicles. The console version also fully supports user created mods, something Epic isn't sure will be possible with the in development Xbox 360 version.
The hype around the game might have died down somewhat, but this doesn't make it any less worthy an addition to your PS3 game collection.
Also out this week
FIFA Street 3, Xbox 360, PS3, DS: EA's latest street-based football title only scored a 6/10 in our review, but it's still an enjoyable way to spend a post-pub gaming session with some mates. Just make sure you've got a copy of PES of FIFA on hand when you want something with more depth.
Patapon, PSP: It looks a bit bonkers, but what do you expect from the makers of the loveable PSP rolling title LocoRoco. There's no point trying to explain the game, you're better off downloading the free playable demo and giving it a whirl yourself.
