Welcome to the Rumour mill, VideoGamer.com's run-down of the big rumours currently doing the rounds in the video game industry. Every week we'll hunt down the juiciest stories and give our opinion on how legit they are. So, whether you want the ridiculous or the plausible, read on.

BioShock coming to PS3

The Rumour: Critically acclaimed Xbox 360 and PC FPS Bioshock will be coming to the PS3 in Spring 2008 now that Microsoft has had a decent innings with the exclusive.

Verdict: Looks like 2K Games is getting a little tired of having to deny it every week. In a recent forum post a 2K Games moderator abruptly rebuked a poster for asking that question. But surely it will be coming at some point?

Plausibility rating: 3/5

Rogue Squadron coming to Wii

starwars -

The Rumour: Developer Factor 5 is interested in bringing a compilation of the popular GameCube Star Wars series Rogue Squadron to the Wii.

Verdict: Factor 5 were strong supporters of the GameCube and ports to the Wii are very much in vogue, what with Resident Evil 4 and Okami. Fingers crossed, but the company seems more interested in new IPs at the moment.

Plausibility rating: 2/5

Microsoft 1st party title cancelled

marvel universe online -

The Rumour: A big 1st party Microsoft title has been cancelled, but the game in question hasn't bee revealed.

Verdict:We know what it isn't - it isn't Banjo, Fable 2 or Alan Wake. But it seems "97%" likely that a Microsoft Game Studios title has been canned. All we need to know is what it is.

Plausibility rating: 4/5

Assassin's Creed 2 coming

The Rumour: A sequel to entertaining stealth game Assassin's Creed is on the way that will tie up some of the first game's loose ends.

Verdict: We're desperately trying to avoid spoilers here, but let's just say that the game's ending doesn't feel like an ending. Surely another AC game is in the works?

Plausibility rating: 4/5
