The console war is fought everywhere these days, but the internet seems to be where people are most vocal. It also serves to give each console its own set of downloadable content, fuelling the war even more. Each week we'll give you a run-down of what's available to download on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii, and declare a winner.

Note: This round-up is based on UK releases to each console's online service and does not include premium video content. Releases outside of the UK could vary.

PlayStation 3 - PSN

There's loads of new content on the UK PlayStation Store this week, including full PSN games, a game demo, a brand-new app and tons of add-ons for some high profile titles. Puzzle Quest Galactix isn't the game original was, but it's still worth a look if you're a fan of the series. Wolfenstein 3D is about as dated as you'll expect it to be, but it's worth the asking price if you want a fun trip down memory lane. Gunstar Heroes from SEGA might be the pick of the week though, with the 16-bit title being one of the best the MEGA DRIVE saw.

Demo wise you've got Overlord II to take a look at, which will give you a sneak peak before the full game is released later this month. Also completely free is VidZone, the music video service that turns your PS3 into a video jukebox.

Updates have arrived in force this week too, with expansions for Call of Duty: World at War, Killzone 2, Burnout Paradise and LittleBigPlanet all being worth the money. If you've got any cash left after all that there are also plenty of new tracks available for Guitar Hero World Tour and Rock Band.
