Believe it or not, there are people (myself included) that have already analyzed the Halo saga and come up with similar, actually more in-depth and fleshed-out, objectives. I mean... conclusions. It would take a tremendous amount of work, but Bungie could do it, given enough time, incredible hardware, and even more talent added to their already stellar roster. Could it happen using only an Xbox controller? Sure, but I don't think it would be nearly as enjoyable. Time will tell. Let's hope the passion is still alive in the hearts of Bungie's teams. Reply

Microsoft Man	0 0 In response to Article » Go to 's original post Id like to see playable brutes especially since when online you lose the feel of it being story oriented when your blowing up other spartans and Elites a couple of brutes for online would spice it up, also for the zombie game type you should use flood since the infection of flood is almost exactly the same as zombies it would add a more cooler feel to the game and a sword is NOT what a zombie would use to render a person limb from limb with also on that note forge needs a little more refining also in forge id like to see the ability to place Buildings on a map and an over head view of the map would be nice. To be honest although it has been a record breaking seller it wouldn't surprise me to see that they won't be making anymore Halo games as in my opinion games that have exceeded more then 3-4 sequels to a game tend to lose there touch that makes them good, for example Square's 'Final Fantasy' seemed to drift off and the games gradually became worse as the FF series grew. But if Halo is continued adding these improvements would make for a better and more enjoyable gameplay for all. Report Reply

Bungie should start fresh on the next microsoft generation console with a brand new halo storyline fresh new guns,maps but should could keep the same vibe that the series has bought. Reply

As for this article about a sequel to a known TRILOGY, please nobody think halo 4 is coming out. If it does it's either going going to be an alternate reality world, or almost all the original developers are going to be replaced by whoever microsoft can find, or maybe both. dont get your hopes up. Orchestrating a workable "epic" battle in a videogame is insanely time consuming and usually doesn't do jack for the story line. Halo 3's story is very convoluted and was usually difficult to follow, I'd like a harkening back to more simple story telling. The "firing blindly over you shoulder thing" isn't going to work in MP because it'd be very easy to tell that's that they're doing it. The visuals were great in and of themselves already, I see no need to put alot of effort into making them better. Also, Bungie is not going to make Halo 4. This I think, will hurt the franchise significantly. I know if I was a game developer I wouldn't even want to touch this baby. I'd rather leave it up to somebody else to botch up. Reply

I loved playing halo 1 & 2 also 3, but having Halo 4 would kill the franchise off. But Halo Wars does look something different, yes its a RTS but I don't think it would effect it one bit. It would obvious be good for RTS fans of course PC owners, not only that but I think Bungie did say Halo Wars is coming out on the 360. So that's very good from my view, but no I wouldn't like to see a Halo 4 as what would be the storyline??? Because Halo 3 you get rid of the Grave-mind, the humans become freinds with the Elite. Also the prophet got killed, so who else is their to be the main bad guy in Halo 4???? from the looks of things there isn't anyone, the storyline from Halo 1, 2 and 3 fits the bill. As I said it would kill the franchise off, because people have started to driff away from Halo and turn to COD 4, where you can make more. But Halo did offer us FPS gamers something different, a FPS game actually had a storyline meaning; a solid storyline and a better structure of gameplay compared to other FPS's. Report Reply
