Welcome to Heads-up, VideoGamer.com's weekly feature which gives you an at-a-glance run-down on the games you'll be able to buy or rent this weekend. Every Tuesday we'll pick out the best of the bunch, link to our reviews and previews and keep you in the video game loop so you have enough time to pre-order for Friday's post. Time to splash the cash.

Recommended: Resident Evil 5 - PS3 and Xbox 360
As the follow-up to one of the best games of all time Resident Evil 5 had a lot of pressure on its shoulders. Thankfully lead man Chris Redfield has clearly been working out in preparation, and his rather muscular physique is more than able to carry the hopes and expectations of millions of gamers. If you enjoyed Resident Evil 4 you're almost certain to enjoy what Capcom has delivered here, and the co-op play adds a new dimension to the experience. With loads of unlockables and a campaign that begs to be played through more than once, you won't be removing this from your disc tray in quite some time. Just don't mention moving and shooting.
Also worth a look
Persona 4 - PS2
SOCOM Confrontation - PS3
World in Conflict: Complete Edition including Soviet Strike Expansion Pack - PC
If you're not interested in Capcom's stunning horror action game, you might prefer some RPG madness in Persona 4 on PS2, a rather bumper RTS package from Ubisoft in the shape of World in Conflict: Complete Edition, or the multiplayer third-person tactical shooting of the PS3's SOCOM Confrontation. SOCOM has been patched an awful lot since its initial release in the US, so don't go purely on the early reviews.
And the rest

Cabela's Dangerous Adventures - Xbox 360

Not sure about Resi though. I still need Killzone 2 (which MOTM should be able to provide when Exnor posts this month's thread and sends out the emails)
