Welcome to Heads-up, VideoGamer.com's weekly feature which gives you an at-a-glance run-down on the games you'll be able to buy or rent this weekend. Every Tuesday we'll pick out the best of the bunch, link to our reviews and previews and keep you in the video game loop so you have enough time to pre-order for Friday's post. Time to splash the cash.

Recommendation of the Week: Lego Batman: The Video Game, PS3, Xbox 360, PS2, Wii, DS, PSP and PC
We're getting to the rammed release period but we're not quire there yet. This week sees a few games hit stores but the most worthy of your cash is most definitely Lego Batman: The Video Game. Traveller's Tales has managed to create a game that novice and expert gamers can play together. Sure, the game isn't especially challenging, but there's a strong sense of humour throughout and some well thought out puzzles. We're not quite as keen on it as we were Lego Star Wars, but it's another fine entry in the Lego series.
And the rest...

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Game of the Year Edition - PC
