Wii Virtual Console

The week's only new Virtual Console release is 2001's N64 title, Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards. Kirby's first and only game on the N64 saw the loveable pink creation enlisted to help a new friend trace all the pieces of a precious shattered crystal. The game also marked the first time Kirby was able to merge two separate copy abilities to discover new powers. At 1000 Wii Points you might want to consider other options though. It's fun, but not the best the N64 has to offer.

And the winner of this week's DLC Royal Rumble is...

Xbox 360 Marketplace
This is becoming something of a regular thing for the Xbox 360. The PlayStation Store updates are certainly much more appealing than last week, but the lack of any full games is a disappointment. The Wii's solo offering of a fun but not great game also means it's unable to claim victory. This leaves Xbox LIVE Marketplace as the victor thanks to a host of new add-on content - notably GRAW 2 Co-op Collection 2 - an albeit not great XBLA title and a large selection of videos, themes and picture packs.
