I think what they have done with game was muchly needed, but I do realise there are people out there that would not like it for its realism and say the game makers let them down.. but I have to be honest in saying... I kinda knew Rockstar was moving in this direction and although the game blew me away when I first played.. I expected nothing less.
I also can not believe that folks are complaining that a game is " too real" lol... that is really beyond me, we want better graphics, we want better game play.... " OH no thats too real " lol... maybe you guys should go back to donkey kong.
Great work Rockstar, you made a fan out of me.

What I disagree with is when he complains about Liberty City being to square. I dont think its a problem driving around 90 degrees angle corners, and you have your handbrake. Nothing like burnt rubber in my eyes :) The graphics are nice, and even tho you like cartoonish, you cant complain about the looks we are given imo. Hats off there. And to me the story is a big deal, it builds up the "image" I am to keep for my character after the story is done. (Niko being a badass, I mean to keep it that way :)
PS. Have they really removed BMX's and hidden packages?!?! :(

you cant complain then, or would that be to boring for you?
also you probably dont like the driving because it is actually hard and if you could just fling it round corners then it would be to easy like the previous GTA's
someone doesnt like change
think i might go and ejoi a nice game of GTA 4 see ya

in san andreas i could play hours on end just running around with cool weapons and not die every 2 minutes
in my opinion the only reason it got 10/10 was because of all the hype everyone just really wanted to give it 10/10 wether or not it deserves it.

They should call it Driver 5 instead.

But if this is a game... For me, a 10/10 score would mean perfection. Meaning, everthing the developper tried to accomplish was pulled off without compromise. Shooting should be compared to an FPS, driving to racing games, etc.. . Overall, whatever you're trying to do should be smooth, effective and FUN - that's right, FUN. This is not it.
GTA is an amusing...distratcting.. even engrossing story at times, and certainly beautiful to look at, but it is NOT a fun "game" to play. The sloppy mechanics make everything a struggle. Each mission completed feels more like a victory over the controller than the challenge at hand. In a 10/10 game, I should forget the controller is there.
Don't get me wrong..GTA ia a great experience and worth every dime to see the scope of Rockstar's accomplishment. But, as a "game", it falls woefully short of "perfection".

The online play is good, but how many people are gona keep playing bomb da base 2, why not just have a seperate mode that is a GTA in itself. Even better why not allow the next GTA to allow you to play entireley with your friends, e.g like a gang. Or play solitary, which makes the game slightly easier. I like niko belic i think the character is very good and the story seems decent, but I hate doing missions now i find myself grabbing a taxi and skipping the ride. It would be more fun to do the whole thing with people.
