I just have an issue with why they took things away that worked for no good reason. It's 'realistic' to buy your own house/business, and to buy/customize your own car, why take those things away? Still a solid game though.

-Camera is horrible (in car and on foot)
-Aiming is horrible (for all weapons)
-Graphics (don't get me started)
-Amount of stuff you can do. (Compared to San Andreas IV is a ripoff)
Heres another game subject to "Multiplatform Dog Poop Syndrome". Where a great franchise branches out this generation to make more cash by developing on both the 360 and PS3.
This type of development doesn't work for the recent Iron Man game, or any Bratz games The best games are specific to each platform. Drakes Fortune, Gears of War, GT5, FZ2, Crysis, WoW shoot even older games! Mario or Crash Bandicoot ring a bell people?
Before you people start throwing names around like Call of Duty 4 keep in mind Infinity Ward did an excellent job keeping the PS3 and 360 version looking great without sacrificing things but the PC version was shat on in the process. The PC version contains far less customization options for servers than the PS3 and 360 for starters, and dont get me started on the DLC maps that wont be coming until late this year if at ALL!
Glad to know the geniuses over at Kojima Co. are strictly focusing on PS3 development for MGS4  Awhile back I thought that too would succumb to "Multiplatform Dog Poop Syndrome".

rockstar said from the get go that this game wasnt going to be like any other gta its a totally new iteration of the series, obviously now
it just seems to me like an upset fanboy of the series didnt get a cartoon like experience as he expected, like with vice city and especially san andreas, which by most standards was the worst in the series to date all from a terrible story to sloppy gameplay and an overwhelming amount of customization
honestly man all the new additions to gta 4 make it for an amazing time, apparently this guy hasnt found the random mini uzis behind trash cans the shotgun in the strip clubs or the ridiculous amount of random character encounters throughout the city
couple words of advice:play through the game a bit more before your go off on a tangent about the terrible quality of the game

I miss xploration in those backalleys, which there is alot of but nothing to find.
i hate the dead city, its freaking big but its all the same, just alot of citizens and cars doing nothing.
"det er en ommer" as we say in danish and means, start all over again and do it right this time.
But i stil enjoyed the week i have spent on the game,it should just have been a half year...

So what if GTA has changed? It adds variety and more tactical ways of procuring your fun... So what if it takes a little more effort like being more careful around corners..
You contradicted yourself by complaining the game is too real, then go on to say there aren't enought clothes? Make your mind.
At the end of the day, its your own opinion, at the same time, stop being a little cry baby. If you were a true fan of GTA you would ebrace the changes, get used to them and have fun - no sweat.
BUT you have to be awkward and shitty.
If you're going to abandon the GTA franchise (which we all know you're not actually going to, because you're just doing this for attention) then fine, thats no skin off our back, good god damn riddance - more GTA for us, the people who appreciate good games.Last edited on Mon 13 October 2008 by FantasyMeister

As stated:
GTA IV: Story is much better, game is more polished, but there just isnt as much to do.
The people that are OMGZ!!1oneGTA(droolz) will inevitably love this game.
The people that are in it for compelling story will love this game.
The people that enjoyed previous GTAs because of the amount of unique things you can do will likely be let down somewhat.
I put myself in the last category. Not to say that the game isnt good and that the story isnt more compelling, but that even as a mature gamer I must admit i still like all of those random things that SA offered.
PS-If you are a fanboi and can refute his arguements, you ought to be capable of defending the game without attacking the critic. Attacking the critic without supporting the game does nothing to prove him wrong.
PS-Saying you are 13 will NOT get you any cred
