Force feedback, motion control
Force feedback via rumble is something that's easy to overlook, but many people realised it was missing when the Sixaxis arrived weighing less than a feather. Having a rumble that matches in-game actions makes you feel more connected, and its inclusion in the PSP 2 can only be a good thing. Something else that seemed like a bit of a gimmick until the Wii and iPhone came along is motion sensing. Some form of tilt mechanic that works like the iPhone but in a more advanced way would allow for a greater variety of games and some really interesting game mechanics.
OLED screen
There's no denying that the current PSP screen is great. It's large, colourful and, on its release was quite spectacular to look at. We want it to be better though. We reckon you could get a screen with at least twice the native resolution of the PSP even if the size remained the same. OLED technology would be our choice for the display, as it would produce far better blacks (an area in which OLED has the clear advantage over LCD) and it uses less power. We all know how short the PSP's battery life is, so anything that helps gamers eek more play time from a single charge is a bonus. The PSP screen's one disappointment, ghosting, would obviously also be a thing of the past, giving a much better quality of image overall. You could argue that a higher resolution display isn't needed on such a small screen, but we're convinced the PSP 2 will offer a sharper image.
Foldable design
Another advantage of OLED technology is that it's flexible. This would allow the PSP 2 to be a sideways folding clamshell design, effectively making it small enough to fit in your pocket (and protect the screen at the same time). Considering the slight size increase over the original PSP that will be needed in order to include an extra analogue stick, the clamshell design would make the machine smaller than the original when not in use. This might sound like Minority Report stuff, but when the PSP was released it blew us all away with the tech that had been crammed into such a small device. We expect the PSP 2 to be on the same bleeding edge of technology.

Give sony a break guys.... i am sure they will astound.....but these specs?!!
Why don't we tell sony to smash a PS3 into a portable form....some of the reommendations aren't even in the PS3!!!!
another thing....would u like to pay $700+ for such a device?
Think about it and make a better list......
As for my recommedations......
1. better control configurations
2. better graphics.
3. touch screen
4.GPS and cell capabilities
4. Mature design (should not look like its built for kids........and remember its us adults that can afford such systems)
Everything else can be a addon......

It just proves that all you need is a good product that hits it's target audience well. Grunt and power are not everything hence the PS3 and PSP sales compared to other consoles. Where as the PS2 was the weakest of the last generation consoles and just look at its sales and even current skills. Its that simple!

I would probably like everything on this list but the PDA functions and since im in the US I wouldn't get the Live TV since we don't have a service like Sky TV but, if we did have something like Sky TV in the US I know I would use it on the PSP 2 and hopefully they would use my service provider AT&T U-verse service.

Sure, all these would be nice, but you really have to realise what you're asking for. This... this is too much. Far too much.
They might as well just rip a PS3 controller apart and throw a screen between it if they were to go at all this. Then it'd be the size of a PSOne. No thanks.

On that note, pretty much the ONLY thing I'd ask for in the PSP2 is at least 128MB of RAM an better cache for - well, everything. I mean, I know for a fact that that's not too much to ask for and is very financially plausible at this point.
Backwards compatibility would be nice, too. Only problem with that is they'd have to stick with UMD, but I wouldn't be complaining any. I like UMD. Maybe they could create a new disc format with the same form factor as UMD, closer to BD capacity but also compatible with original discs.
There are a lot of things that could be improved on, and a lot of things that are unreasonable. This list is a lot more the latter than the former.
