Thats just stupid how the graphics can be that different.. I must say PS3 looks better when it comes to lightning, cause on the Area 22 map its supposed to be sunny and on 360 it looks like its foggy all over the place.
But then again, PS3 looks like CS lol, still both versions got problems on the edges, unless its just your bad camera :p
I cannot remember to have seen this bad graphics on the PC, lets see a PC vs 360 article :)
Yeah seriously...I dunno what their baseline is for their graphics comparisons here, but the only thing I can really tell is that the Xbox version looks on a whole darker...and the PS3 version appears to have more vibrant colors...check out the grass in the 2nd to last shot shown...looks drab in the 360...and 'grass' color in the PS3 version...
I agree, I think the PS3 version looks better, however that said, I also think both versions look very out of place. It looks like a very weak port, the textures and particle effects on both versions look very poor compared to the PC. The 360 version looks a little blury in the distance aswell, don't no whether that was meant?
Huh? To me the PS3 images are much better. I hate dark blurry games. The 1st thing I'd do if I had the Xbox version is crank up the brightness and sharpness controls. Other than that, they look identical.
Well it could just be my monitor or your captures but to my eyes the PS3 version looks far better in every shot! Screenshot comparisons are pointless and subjective anyway. The only way to test a game is using moving images on your own TV on your own consoles you have personally set up properly.
It's also worth noting that the ports of this game were handled by completely different and independent developers (360 = Nerve, PS3 = Activision) so that doesn't really make them comparible. It's not as if the same developer has made the decision to put one effect on one version and not the other due to hardware reasons. It's just that each developer has given their own interpretation and used their own code...
Hmmm . If i was to buy this I would go for the PS3 version instead ... I own both systems but honestly ... slap yourself profusely about the head and neck area ... Ps3 version looks ridiculously better in the lighting and clarity dept other than that they look exactly the same ... to be honest ... these comparisons look to be the exact opposite of what reviews normaly are . Usually its the ps3 with the muted dark pictures
hello. it's QUAKE WARS. it's not supposed to br bright and shiny xD the strogg are taking over the world and trying to convert everyone to Strogg! the 360 version looks more like the PC version btw.
