After seeing these comparison pics and playing the games, I feel there isn't a great deal of difference between the 3 titles. Anon	0 0 In response to Article » Go to 's original post I don't know what some people in here are talking about when they say "Screen tears, frame rate dips, or glitches" but I have a 1080P display on a 37 inch TV and the game performs perfectly. I guess fanboyism is taking over their minds making them think every playstation game suffers from this when it is indeed a lie. There are no graphical "glitches" in this game and my total play time has reached over 35 hours with this game. Sorry fanboys try again. This time actually play the game instead of making something up. Reply

Stuart	0 0 In response to Article » Go to 's original post I agree with Anon. I have played GT5p for many hours and there is absolutely no problems with framerate or graphics. It runs as smooth as silk. I also own Forza2 and PGR4. My display is a Samsung 226BW which performs better for games than my 46" X series Bravia LCD. PGR4 is way below the standard of both Forza2 and GT5p IMO. GT5p wins hands down in graphics and with the Logitech G25 wheel the car physics are spot on. I havn't played Forza2 with a wheel because I can't use my G25 with my 360 because it doesn't have a Microsoft logo on it. Once you have used the G25 the MS wheel is like a cheap kids toy and I won't buy one. The car models in GT5p blow Forza2 clean out of the solar system, which is the main reason for the lengthy development time. I miss the car damage but with models so detailed I think adding damage would also add a couple of years to develop the game. The circuits in GT5p also win hands down and look amazingly real with photo realistic scenery. Bring on the full version. Reply

At that point it might be debatable.The car models are also much more accurate and realistic. and GT5:P has realistic lighting while Forza2 seems to fake it on both lighting and car models. Reply

Nos4speed	0 0 In response to Article » Go to 's original post Its easy to see which is better if you play all the games HD but if were using these pictures as an example then just look at the SANYO advertising sign which verisons looks perfectly real, then look at the scoobys one looks like its been found inside a kinder surprise, that would be the forza2. GT5 has the experienced developers behind it and the hardware and space to increase the quality, and dont forget this is just a prologue, the actual game is likely to feature damage modelling. And the whole GT5 experience is alot richer, with GTTV you are able to download episodes of top gear, official race tournaments and alot more, and the top gear track is featured on the Final game, so drivers of the world start your resonably priced cars engines. Just think if the prologue beats both of the other games imagine what the final version is like, i cant belive some of these xbox people are trying to argue their games are actually better that was is basically a demo on steroids, LMAO at least wait until the full games come out before you try to justify yourself.Last edited on Wed 2 April 2008 by Rogue Soul Reply

My thoughts are that because the game portrays the vehicles so realisticly, including handling, it would be unethical to offer damage on the game as this would show the cars failures in design. i think it's the manufacturers that have requested this not be part of the game. As for the comparison, there is no comparison. GT5 is the king of racers period. Forza 2 makes for a great racer, both in gameplay and graphics, PGR4 looked pretty, but that's about it. If you haven't played a GT game, what are you waiting for? head over to your friends who own one and get your race on in style! Reply
