Eidos unveils new Tomb Raider model
Alison Carroll, 23, from Croydon replaces ex-Top Shop worker Karima Adebe.
The Sun reports that Eidos has unveiled Alison Carroll as the new public face of Lara Croft. Alison, 23, from Croydon won the much coveted role ahead of hundreds of other hopefuls.
Alison, a trained gymnast, told the Sun: "I'm single and having fun, I'm not looking for a long-term relationship as most men can't keep up with me. But playing Lara Croft, the sexiest game heroine there is, should get me a few more dates!"
Alison follows ex-Top Shop worker Karima Adebe in a role which will see her taking lessons in archaeology and weapons' handling.
"I train six days a week. I'm very adventurous," said Alison. "But I'm not sure what's more scary, learning to fire guns or a crash course in archaeology."
Alison's first major task will see her promoting Tomb Raider: Underworld which is scheduled for release on November 21.
