Spore sales approach 2 million in 3 weeks

Over 40 million creatures uploaded to Sporepedia.

EA has announced that sales of Spore were fast approaching 2 million units as of September 30, 2008. The game launched on September 7 for PC, Mac, DS and iPhone.

The game is also the number one PC title in North America and the number three title in Europe year-to-date.

All these Spore players have generated lots of creatures too, with online database Sporepedia now some 40 million strong.

Just wish it come to consoles... anyone, PS3 would be better for this type of games

I think they would have made more if it wasn't the drm bit. It will sell more than 2 mill you watch pc gaming is not like console gaming when comes to sales. Once a game is on the pc game market it can sell for along time to come.
