Race Driver: Create & Race announced for DS

Create your very own race circuits then race against other players using Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.

Codemasters has announced Race Driver: Create & Race, a new game in the Race Driver series created from the ground up for the Nintendo DS.

In addition to featuring 32 real-life circuits and 25 officially licensed cars, the game will enable players to create and race their own circuits. Using a complete track construction kit, players can select and place track elements, such as hairpin corners, long straights and chicanes, to design unique circuits. Once completed these circuits can be raced against AI or real-life players

Race Driver: Create & Race also features Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection capabilities enabling players to challenge other racers on the game's official and user-created tracks the world over. Gamesharing is also supported for local wireless play for up to four players from one game card.

Race Driver: Create & Race is scheduled for release only on Nintendo DS this summer. Look out for a hands-on preview soon.
